RICHARD LAMBERT
FOUNDER

Richard began his career in the electronic security industry in 1982 rising to Director-level prior to co-founding Evolution in 1996. When Richard is not thinking about work his passion is classic cars. Richard has spent several years ‘Historic Racing’ in a 1973 Lancia Fulvia and he has also built a hot-rod over 11 years. Richard’s boyhood dream is finally realised as he is now the proud owner of a Jensen Interceptor.

JOHN WUST
FOUNDER

John originally trained as an electrician and started in the security industry in 1980 as an installation engineer rising through the ranks to General Manager prior to converting to a sales career. Seven years later he co-founded  Evolution in 1996 with Richard.  Outside of work John has played in bands since he was 14 years old and is still playing.  He has a collection of guitars and a few motorbikes.

NEIL HARRIS

  • Neil joined Evolution in 1998 as Operations Manager and he is now Group Operations Director, responsible for the largest headcount at Evolution!

    Careful and thorough at work, but when not working Neil enjoys flinging himself off mountains with only a flimsy frame and fabric to keep him alive, otherwise known as paragliding.

DERREL BEASLEY

  • Derrel started his career in the electronic security industry with Evolution in 2001 as a Service Engineer. He quickly rose through the ranks to become Technical Manager in 2006 UK Technical Director in 2014 and is now Group Technical Director.

    In his spare time Derrel enjoys running, cycling and fishing to fast cars and more recently fast motorbikes.

BRENDAN MCGARRITY

  • Brendan heads up the Risk and Design division at Evolution and is a Member of the Security Institute and the Association of Security Consultants. Brendan is a physical security, risk and assurance specialist, having worked in the military and with a wide range of FTSE100 clients.

    Outside of work, and when not cooking, Brendan enjoys training for the Total Warrior challenge. Brendan is also a member of the Stamford amateur dramatic society where his stage set building is renowned.

KEVIN BURNHAM

  • Kevin keeps tabs on the finances in Evolution with his finance team in UK and Ireland. A keen motor-racer, Kevin races an historic Mallock with his father but has more recently developed a habit of qualifying well, starting well and being let down by his machinery towards the end, but as they say “that’s historic racing!”

MARK CORRIGAN

  • Mark started out in the Security Industry in 2002 as a trainee engineer and quickly learned the ropes, moving on to become an installation engineer, senior installation engineer and commissioning engineer. Joining Evolution in Ireland in 2013 , Mark is into his gadgets and all things technical.

    As another petrol-head into cars and more recently motorbikes he says he wouldn't fit in otherwise!

KEIR JONES

  • Keir started in the electrical industry qualifying as an Electrician and then moved into the Fire and Security industry as an installation and commissioning engineer in 2007.

    Joining Evolution in 2016 as a Project Manager Keir now supports the Operations teams across the UK and Netherlands. He has experience in Project and Operations management within the Evolution Group across a wide range of clients and business sectors.

    A keen football fan and in his spare time a youth football coach occupying most of his weekends.

JAKE RACKHAM

  • Jake started his career as an electrical apprentice completing an advanced four year apprenticeship in installation and maintenance.

    Transferring his skills and knowledge into security in 2010 Jake joined in Evolution in 2012 as an Engineer and then Project Manager becoming Head of ICTS in 2020 and Commercial Director following Evolution’s transition to Employee Ownership.

    Jake’s interests mainly include Football and Golf. Regrettably Jake is a Swindon Town Football Club fan, and young family commitments also find him a stranger to the golf course these days.

LOUISE GOUGH

  • Louise has been in the security industry for many years and joined the Evolution team in 2019. CIPD and IOSH qualified, Louise oversees the Group’s HR function including recruitment, talent management and strategic workforce planning.

    When at home near Pangbourne, Louise can be seen negotiating her way round the local golf course having recently taken up the game. She also enjoys watching cricket and coastal walks when the weather permits!

JASON BROUGHTON

  • Jason has know the founders for over 35 years and joined Evolution in 1999 starting as an installation engineer, progressing to senior engineer and then Project Manager. Working predominantly in the Government Sector for Evolution, Jason is UK Operations manager.

    When not working he enjoys spending time with his children and also has a keen interest in car detailing. He also follows football and the mighty (apparently) Chelsea.
