JAKE RACKHAM
JOINT GROUP
MANAGING DIRECTOR

Jake started his career as an electrical apprentice, completing an advanced four-year apprenticeship in installation and maintenance. Transferring his skills and knowledge into the Fire and Security industry in 2010, Jake joined Evolution in 2012 as an Engineer and then Project Manager, becoming Head of ICTS in 2020 and Commercial Director following Evolution's transition to Employee Ownership. In 2025, Jake was appointed Managing Director alongside Mark Corrigan.

MARK CORRIGAN
JOINT GROUP
MANAGING DIRECTOR

Prior to becoming joint Managing Director alongside Jake, Mark led our Irish operations, overseeing our continued expansion and service excellence across Ireland. Under his leadership, Evolution Ireland became a trusted partner for critical infrastructure and enterprise clients throughout the region. Mark's deep understanding of our clients' needs and his commitment to operational excellence made him the natural choice to help lead Evolution into its next chapter.

KEIR JONES

  • Keir started in the electrical industry qualifying as an Electrician and then moved into the Fire and Security industry as an installation and commissioning engineer in 2007.

    Joining Evolution in 2016 as a Project Manager Keir now manages group operations, ensuring seamless project delivery and maintaining our high standards of service.

    His focus on operational efficiency and team development has been crucial in scaling our capabilities whilst maintaining quality.

DERREL BEASLEY

  • Derrel started his career in the Fire and Security industry with Evolution in 2001 as a Service Engineer. He quickly rose through the ranks to become Technical Manager in 2006 UK Technical Director in 2014 and is now Group Technical Director.

    Derrel leads our technical innovation and ensures Evolution remains at the forefront of security technology. He has been pivotal in developing our technical capabilities and maintaining our position as industry leaders in integrated security solutions.

BRENDAN MCGARRITY

  • Brendan heads up the Risk and Design division at Evolution and is a Member of the Security Institute and the Association of Security Consultants. Brendan is a physical security, risk and assurance specialist, having worked in the military and with a wide range of FTSE100 clients.

RICHARD BATER

  • Richard ensures Evolution's financial strength and stability, managing our robust balance sheet and supporting our strategic growth initiatives. His expertise in financial planning and analysis helps Evolution maintain its position as a financially secure partner for long-term client relationships.

JASON BROUGHTON

  • Jason has know the founders for over 35 years and joined Evolution in 1999 starting as an installation engineer, progressing to senior engineer and then Project Manager. Working predominantly in the Government Sector for Evolution, Jason is UK Operations manager.

RICHARD LAMBERT
FOUNDER

Richard began his career in the electronic security industry in 1982 rising to Director-level prior to co-founding Evolution in 1996. When Richard is not thinking about work his passion is classic cars. Richard has spent several years ‘Historic Racing’ in a 1973 Lancia Fulvia and he has also built a hot-rod over 11 years. Richard’s boyhood dream is finally realised as he is now the proud owner of a Jensen Interceptor.

JOHN WUST
FOUNDER

John originally trained as an electrician and started in the security industry in 1980 as an installation engineer rising through the ranks to General Manager prior to converting to a sales career. Seven years later he co-founded  Evolution in 1996 with Richard.  Outside of work John has played in bands since he was 14 years old and is still playing.  He has a collection of guitars and a few motorbikes.

NEIL HARRIS
FOUNDER

Neil joined Evolution in 1998 as Operations Manager and was our Group Operations Director, responsible for the largest headcount at Evolution!

Careful and thorough at work, but when not working Neil enjoys flinging himself off mountains with only a flimsy frame and fabric to keep him alive, otherwise known as paragliding.
